PhaFan International School for Traditional Thai Medicine
PhaFan International School for Traditional Thai Medicine (or PhaFan TTM School for short) is the first foreign school for Thai massage and TTM (Traditional Thai Medicine) to seek independent and direct approval by the Thai government.
Our longterm goal is to ensure the quality and popularity of TTM by developing and supporting an education system outside of Thailand, in close cooperation with the Thailand Ministry of Public Health, the Thailand Ministry of Education and Thai Embassies in Europe.
PhaFan TTM School is founded by Chutikarn Eskeland and Kjetil Prestesæter. Both are certified massagists, teachers and clinic owners with more than 30 years of combined experience.
They are also founders of Nuad Thai Association and Norwegian Massage Association, two member organizations that provide help and opportunities, and control the quality within the Norwegian Thai Massage Industry.
Together, they have taken the initiative to establish Thai Massage Council Norway, in cooperation with the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo and the Thailand Ministry of Public Health, joining the forces of all the Unions for Thai Massagists in Norway.
Their personal goals are to heighten the knowledge and respect for Thai culture and Thai women in Europe, and to help Thai people in Europe integrate and establish a solid work and private life.
In addition to helping Thai massagists in Europe, PhaFan TTM School supports these projects:
